It’s Bram & Sweet’s book release day!!! RUNNING BLIND is available everywhere you buy your ebooks and print books (and I’ll be populating the order links on the book page as the book goes live everywhere). You can read Chapter One here 🙂
An ATF agent who lives for danger finds what he craves from an outlaw biker.
It’s impossible for a one-percenter motorcycle club member to simply walk away—and no one knows that better than undercover agent Bram, who’s almost killed for trying. His cover isn’t blown—yet—but it’s only a matter of time. The Heathens won’t be satisfied until he’s dead, so he decides to lay low and heal.
But when his younger brother’s disappearance throws a wrench into his plan, Bram ends up in Shades Run, a town ruled by the notorious Havoc MC. In less than twenty-four hours, Bram finds himself at the mercy of Sweet, Havoc’s president, as he throws himself into the undercover role of a lifetime: himself. A man who’s never belonged anywhere, and who will do anything to protect his younger brother.
When finding Linc seems impossible, Bram is torn between Sweet, Linc, and revealing his true identities . . . and there appears to be no way out. Once again, he risks it all trying to save it all. Only this time he’s got no backup to save him if he falls.
In other news, if you didn’t hear, I handed in IF I EVER (Prophet’s 4th and final book!) to my Riptide editor this past Friday 🙂 I’m assured by Riptide that you won’t have to wait too long for publication and I’ll let you know when / as I’m editing.
And one more re-release – I’ve finally gotten NO BOUNDARIES back up for sale (I got the rights reverted to me from Samhain and I had to reformat and all that good stuff)…again, I’ve just hit publish so the links will take up to 72 hours to repopulate. This book series is a spin-off of Men of Honor and it includes Law / Paolo / Styx from Bound By Law.
Again, thanks for the patience and trust in me. I know it hasn’t been easy and trust me, it hasn’t been easy for me. I’ve gotten some amazingly supportive emails and messages (and I love you guys for that), and some not so supportive (aka people emailing to let me know they just threw my books into the garbage) and all I can say is, having a chronic illness sucks. Having two and not knowing it? Sucks even harder, and yeah, it does mean that I barely had the energy to be a mom, and yes, it really was too hard to answer emails / post blogs / write books. Honestly and literally. More on that later, but for now, I’m back up and running and writing. I’ve done more writing (and finishing) in the past month than I have in four years and thanks to finding the right doctor, I can finally say that I’m going to be continuing.
XOXOXO,
SE

Ignore the haters! Life happens and there is nothing we can do about it. If they are fortunate enough to have perfect health and unlimited, uniterrupted time then power to them
But for those of us living with health issues we are fortunate to have our good days. I hope you continue to feel better and I can’t wait to read everything you publish!

OMG, Melissa, I know. Why?! I get people have their own stuff they’re dealing with and I just try to be kind but honestly? It’s exhausting. I’m so glad that it’s the definite minority of people I deal with on here – I’m very happy to be back among ‘my people’ – and thanks so much for the good wishes 🙂

I am so ridiculously happy that you’re back and feeling better, mostly for you (chronic illness is so terrible) but just a teeeeny bit for me because I love your work so very much.
Welcome back and you have the very best of my wishes. <3

Just discovered you an hour ago. All your books look and sound so good but I don’t know where to start! Seems like all your books connect in some shape or form. Care to give us a reading order? Which series to start first or which book to read before another. Plz? & Thank you!

Hey Roxanne, and welcome!
I’m going to have to do this and put it somewhere on my site because you’re not the only one who’s asked in the past couple of days!
Okay, so, I wrote the Men of Honor series first, and then the Hell or Highwater series. They are very different series, so it just depends on what you’re in the mood for. You can read either series first with no issues, as they don’t connect (save for a mention or 2 of certain characters that will not mess with your understanding)
If you start with Men of Honor, just read them in the order the books are listed in on the series page. Then No Boundaries is a spinoff of that series.
If you start with Hell or Highwater:
You can start or end with Free Falling. It’s a standalone book and has a few characters mentioned in the HH series but it’s not a crucial part of the series, if that makes sense.
Catch A Ghost (book 1 of HH)
Long Time Gone (Book 2 of HH(
Dirty Deeds (it’s part of another series but fits right here)
Daylight Again (runs along the same timeline as Dirty Deeds)
Not Fade Away (Book 3.5 of HH)
and if I ever, book 4 will be out soon-ish. Under 6 months from now 🙂 It’s the final book in this series.
The Havoc Books, the Inked Books and Rule of Thirds are all standalone books within their series.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need more clarification.

Sorry you have been unwell, I can’t even imagine the pressure from the internet on authors these days.
So excited you’re feeling up to writing again, well done!

Thanks, Becky! Yeah, the internet can be a rough place, I think, for everyone these days 🙂 And I’m excited to be writing again too, so thank you!!!

Hi Roxanne –
I answered your first comment above – your post went into approval (sorry!!!) so it didn’t appear right when you wrote it last night…
But I’ll copy / paste it here again in case it’s not showing for you above:

I’m so glad to hear that you are feeling better. It seemed like you had such a run of family loss and to be ill with an unknown chronic condition on top of it must have been exhausting and excruciating. As you know from just reading the news, everyone is crazy these days. Half of us are feeling entitled to be our worst selves and the other half are despairing and anxious and barely hanging on. So take all emails with a grain of salt and just bask in feeling better and a good book and laugh as much as you can! Welcome back to the insane romancelandia. 🙂
