Alter Egos:

CATCH A GHOST release day (plus contest info)!!!

It’s here IT’S HERE!!! CATCH A GHOST is here!!! (order links below the blurb – they’re actually up a bit early!!!) I know it’s been out from Riptide since Friday but now it’s everywhere!  And thanks to everyone who’s already bought and talked it up and reviewed it – you’re all awesome!

The past can only hold you hostage if you let it…CatchAGhost_500x750

Everyone knows that Prophet—former Navy SEAL, former CIA spook, full-time pain in the ass—works alone and thinks only about the trouble he can cause. But his boss, Phil Butler of Extreme Escapes, LTD., has just assigned Proph not only a new partner but also a case haunted by ghosts from Proph’s past. Suddenly, he’s got to confront them both head on.

Tom Boudreaux—failed FBI agent, failed sheriff, full time believer in bad luck—is wondering why the head of a private contracting firm has hunted him down to offer him a job. Still he’s determined to succeed this time, despite being partnered with Prophet, EE, LTD’s most successful, lethal, and annoying operative, and even though the case is also resurrecting his own painful past.

Together, Prophet and Tom must find a way to take down killers in the dangerous world of underground cage matches, while fighting their own dangerous attraction. And when they find themselves caught in the crossfire, these two loners are forced to trust each other and work together to escape their ghosts . . . or pay the price.

**The Hell or High Water Series will be 4 books plus 2 shorts, all focusing on Prophet and Tommy.  It’s romantic suspense, so although the series might be a bumpy ride, I promise you that I write romance :) ***

You can find it on:

What books I bought today?? I don’t buy as many books as I used to because of reviewing…but I actually bought quite a few…I pre-ordered Long Time Gone…because if you have a book out I must have it 🙂 I bought 3 books in The Wolves of Mt. Alexis series. Oh! And I got Katy Hawthorne’s Re-entry Burn. I am a fan of pretty much all genres…pretty much…I just finished reading Lex Chase’s Cashing the Reality Check…and if you liked superhero comics as a kid (or as an adult), you should definitely read her Pawn Takes Rook series. I just started Soulless by T. Baggins. I love her work. So far I’m really liking it 🙂 So that’s my buying/reading for the past few days…I’m trying to make time to read Catch a Ghost in the next few days…I can’t wait!!

Really looking forward to reading this – I pre-ordered from Riptide so it’s just a case of finding a few quiet hours to curl up and read 🙂
And I’ve pre-ordered the next one – I love your Men of Honor series so these were an auto-buy for me 🙂

I bought the MAN HANDLED m/m bundle last week, but haven’t read it yet. Right now I’m reading a few library ebooks: James Lear’s THE PALACE OF VARIETIES, Derek Sanderson’s autobiography CROSSING THE LINE, and the history of Mint Records…

Congrats on the new release. I have been waiting for this book since I saw it on Riptide’s website. Can’t wait to read it to see more of Prophet and Tommy(especially his piercings!)

Congrats on the new release! I’ve read all of your books and I have to say that I am so excited about this new series! As a matter of fact, I am reading Catch a Ghost right now. I have been reading a lot of books about musicians lately. Just finished K-lee Klein’s Unbreak My Heart. Before that I read Black Hurricane by Erica Pike and Whiskey and Wry by Rhys Ford. I have also bought The Great Wall by Z. Allora and A Little Bit Country by SJ Frost, but those two will have to wait a little while longer. I needed some action and suspense and Prophet and Tommy are definitely giving me that, along with a few other things. 😀 Great start to a new series!

I haven’t bought any books today, but the day is still young. The last two books I finished were Catch A Ghost and Spook Squad, and both immediately made my re-read list. I love characters who struggle with life and with themselves.

I just bought and finished all your Men of Honor series this week and fell in love with all of them. I just bought Proph’s book but haven’t started it yet. I also just bought the 3rd in Tracy Cooper-Poseys series of Vampires traveling back in time. I can’t wait until Dec. to read more about Rex and Sawyer, I have a soft spot for them. 🙂

I am rather excited to read this, but I will likely cheat, or try to, and read it right before I receive, or once I receive, Long Time Gone. Coincidentally, Long Time Gone was the last book I bought along with Giving An Inch and An Inch at a Time by Heidi Belleau and Amelia C. Gormley.

Read the excerpt of Catch a Ghost this morning, and it reeled me in so fast I got dizzy. Then saw that proph first pops up somewhere else and sleuthed. So, yeah, the books I bought today were Men of Honor 1-5. Good thing I have a vacation coming up.

Last one I read was Glitterland. Very different, very worth reading.

So, anyway, can’t wait to discover this S E Jakes person. 😉

I preordered Catch A Ghost, but am saving it for this weekend. I have not bought any books today, but bought way too many in August and early September when everyone seemed to be having sales. The last book I read & completed was Anything Can Happen by BG Thomas (also a pre-order, so it doesn’t count as a purchase, but most recent download).

I am reading Catch A Ghost right now. I had to stop at 40% and wait for my best friend to start it and catch up so we could fangirl/talk about it together. So far I am LOVING IT!!! Last book I bought was Strength of the Wolf by Kendall McKenna. Last book I just read (waiting on best friend to start CAG) was a reread of Strength of the Pack by Kendall.

Hmm… still haven’t read a new eBook since my last comment. I have read 14 of the 22 short stories based on the prompt, ‘Pandora’s Box’ on GayAuthors for the fall anthology. Too busy with that and writing to buy anything new since last week but I thoroughly enjoyed Kendall McKenna’s Strength of the Wolf, though not quite as much as the first book. Good luck on your series!!
